WELCOME

Welcome and thank you for visiting my website. I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Comparative Literature at the University of Washington in Seattle.

I am currently working on my dissertation, Making France Visible: Visual Technologies of Nationalism, which I project to complete in the spring of 2010. This work touches on a number of my academic and personal interests including visual culture, the history of technology, architecture, museology, national identity and nationalisms, and the French colonial project.
